Training CID & Security

Due to the high number of call outs received by our Inspectors, we need to gain the support of both public and private law enforcers. To this end, we have started a training project where they will be taught what to look out for, and when to call CHPA.

Often, by the time an Inspector has travelled from Epping to Edgemead for example, the offending cartie has disappeared into the maze of streets and cannot be found.  In the event that immediate action is needed, and/or the offender is far away, law enforcers can stop & hold them until we arrive to deal with the problem.

I saw cart horse 500 Lucky today (Sat, 23 July) at 3pm on Main Road Observatory with what looked like a very heavy load, e.g., possibly 2 washing machines etc. etc plus 3 passengers.

    Thank you.
