Gifts:
You can use Do It 4 Charity if you decide you would rather have friends and family make a donation to CHPA Instead of buying you a birthday, christmas or wedding gift.

Volunteer Fundraising Stories:
on 10 December 2009, 22 teams put their heads together at the Italian Club for a Charity Quizz Evening, which raised R6,965.00. A fun-filled evening was had by all and some of the answers given raised a good laugh! Our sincere thanks to volunteer Penny Lankaster for organising the event, Liz and Eugene the Quizz Masters and to our prize and raffle sponsors!

We only work with the working horses in Cape Town. There are a number of animal welfare organisations that offer services to the horses in JHB, Animals in Distress, PDSA and you can also contact the Soweto Equestrian Foundation. They all have websites …. good luck!

p.s i recently applied for a position with your organisation (PA to Fundraising Manager) and have subsequently been reading up on the internet about the wonderful work you do. i’ve also been telling family and friends about your organisation and was surprised that so few of them knew of your work.
suffice to say you have a new champion (i have downloaded the membership form and sent it to my entire mailing list – with a personal plea). i will be checking up on them all!!!!
regardless of whether my application is successful or not i will continue to spread the word and encourage friends and family to support the fantastic service you provide for those who cant talk for themselves.
