At present, we do not have an adoption policy and therefore all confiscated horses are sent to the SPCA to join their Adoption Programme.

Thanks for your post. Last week we signed 2 horses over to the SPCA Horse Care Unit who are looking for homes. A cute little pony called Naughty and a stunning horse called Sultan. If you are interested in adopting, he have to contact Louis Joubert, the Stable Manager at the Horse Care Unit at the SPCA in Grassy Park and then go through and have a look at the horses. The SPCA then does a home visit, to see if your small holding is suitable etc… depending on what you want to adopt the horses for. There is also a fee attached, how much I am not entirely sure. The SPCA’s number is 021 – 700 4140. Press ther option to put you through to the Horse Care Unit. Good luck and I hope you find what u are looking for.
