Dear animal lovers,

Please stand up against this horrific act of violence and support us in the fight against animal abuse. Please download the document Bukshi – Letter to Court, fill in your details and sign, and send the signed copy to Anthea at horsedoe@gmail.com.

Sentencing of the 3 accused in the Bukshi case will take place in the Somerset West Magistrates Court, new date to be announced tomorrow, Friday 3 February 2012. To stay updated on when the court case is, please visit Anthea’s Facebook event. Please show your support for harsh sentences for animal abuse and join the peaceful protest outside the court.

Sir Barry – 2 months old! Named after Barry Armitage from The Ride fame. Sir Barry’s Dad’s name is Barabas.

Old Miss Molly – fast asleep in her cosy, comfy stable at her new home with Karen Mccallum in sir Lowry’s!

Orphan Annie – she came to the R&R at only 4 weeks old. her Mom, Helen died and we took her in to help her through this very sad and traumatic time! She has stolen all our hearts!

Our beautiful garden at Epping – thanks to Carl’s tender love and care and his green fingers!

Carl lovingly tends our gardens every morning when he comes in at 06.30am each morning for work and during his lunch break. Believe me, as the receptionist, fundraising and financial administrator of Cart Horse, he has no time on his hands. This beautiful garden that greets us everyday, lifts our spirits and helps us see the beauty in the world when on some days it seems like there is only ‘ugliness’ and sadness!

Hope is everywhere:)
