This morning on the way to the clinic, a white Golf thought that he could overtake two carts going over Vahalla Drive bridge.  When the driver saw that he could not make it, he swerved into the horses and poor Mojo was hit.

His cart is in splinters, the two drivers Japie and Tolla were taken to hospital and Mojo brought to Epping clinic. He was treated for cuts to his front legs and a very, very sore hind leg and shock. He will be kept with us until he has fully recovered.

In cases where cart horses are involved in MVA’s … it is 99% of the time, the fault of impatient motorists. This is the second incident when someone has tried to overtake on a bridge, the last one resulted in the death of Naughty’s owner, Mr Marnie Louw.

Mojo

Mojo was confiscated for the second time due to his condition not being up to standard. He is booked off to rest, having been caught working when booked off the first time. This transgression is an absolute NO, NO for CHPA inspectors.  Mojo is a big bully, always fighting with Noortjie his stable mate. Noortjie
