Lady Sarah, or Hildatjie as the grooms call her, is a gift to CHPA from owner Mr. Desmond Fredericks. Lady Sarah, born at the Recovery and Rehabilitation on 15th January 2009, was named after her father Saron.
Her mother Blondie, a chestnut mare, suffered from very bad sarcoids. We did our best to treat her, but knew that she would eventually have to be euthanized. Mr. Fredericks, thankful for our help with Blondie gave us Lady Sarah. Sadly, Blondie was PTS’d at the end of last year.
Lady Sarah is presently in season and a real flirt. A typical teenager, she can be quite a show off, pulling ugly faces and putting her ears back.
Lady Sarah will be heading off to the SPCA soon to join their adoption programme. If you are interested in adopting her, please call Louis Joubert on 021 700 4041.
