Skilpad was signed over to us by his owner today. A very hard decision awaits us, he is a very dangerous horse and the chances of him being adoptable are very slim!

He is a beautiful stallion … he has gone to the R&R today and we will monitor how he adapts, get expert opinion on his chances of rehabilitation, effects of gelding him and then make a decision on his future. It’s these cases that make working in animal welfare very hard.  A healthy horse that has the potential to really hurt someone…!  Which ever way it goes we will make sure that the best is done by him and he has been given all the chances at a new life!
