“Hello CHPA Fans,
My name is Sherieen Seagreen and as a way of introduction I have just signed up to be the volunteer co-ordinator for the Cart Horse association.
I am really excited about possibly making a difference albeit in a small way and of adding value. I love all animals and especially horses. As a full time working, single mother of twin daughters, I haven’t always been able to balance my intentions with the time and energy that it takes to support good causes. I believe charity begins at home and every little bit helps! In the words of Leo Tolstoy “ The only certain happiness in life is to live for others.”
I have met the whole team at Cart Horse Protection Association and am truly inspired by their passion and the great work they have done. Their care, dedication, authenticity and love for what they do is one of the reasons I knew this was the correct cause to support. They have and continue to make such a difference to the horses and cart horse community.
Our first project is more on a physical note – coming up on the 10th March 2012 at the Somerset West R&R.
You don’t necessarily have to be strong to help, just of good humour, willing and passionate!
Please diarize and let anyone who might be interested in helping, know.
More information to follow soon.
